Raveena Tandon Launches child security and Safety App "Nischint"
UNICEF features Digital Assurance provider Nischint in Annual Report
Nischint App allows monitoring of calls, SMS, images, videos and application usage by parents
If you go to any park or public place like malls, you see parents constantly monitoring and supervising their kids and the activities that kids engage in. It's a known fact that as a parent, a part of you is always, constantly worrying about your child and his/ her well-being and safety. In today's digital world, as adults we spend a lot of time on the Internet and on various gadgets. The Internet has penetrated our lives so much that there is no escape from it. The trickle effect of this has reached our children's lives too. Who will monitor our children when they are surfing the online world?
While many public and private entities are waking up to the need of the hour, Nischint, India's leading provider of online child safety solutions and digital assurance, has recently been recognized by UNICEF in its annual 'Child Online Protection in India' report. This has given Nischint confidence that it is moving ahead in the right direction for online safety for children as an international entity like UNICEF has recognized its contribution.
Over time, Nischint has constantly endeavoured to provide a secure solution for parents to monitor their kids' online activities and protect them from cyber-crimes and child online abuse. The application gives the right proactive tools for parents to keep track of their child's online activities; it helps to monitor the use of the Internet on mobile gadgets and the child's participation in the ever-evolving social media world. It summarizes all online activities of the child and displays the same in the form of a dynamic Web and application dashboard in his/ her parent's devices. The application is available for both Android and iOS. Parents can access essential information related to the child from anywhere in the world through this app.
Reaching more than 2,00,000 parents in India and abroad, Nischint has become one of the most widely-used parental control apps. "Parents are slowly but surely waking up to the need for digital security of children and the increased risk their kids face when accessing the Internet on a mobile or other device. In fact, access to various media and varied platforms poses increased risk," says Raghav Mimani, Founder and CEO of Nischint.
Nischint provides some path-breaking features like time and application management, Facebook monitoring, social media monitoring, web filtering (~40 Lac objectionable sites are blocked using Nischint on the child's device), emergency SOS alerts and much more. With this application, parents can view phone calls, SMS made/received, images and videos taken or played by their children on their devices in a real-time basis. Nischint also enables parents to know the location of their child at any point of time with the help of an interactive map showing the GPS track for the last 24 hours. It helps set up a child-safe zone and allows parents to receive real-time alerts when the safe zone is crossed. It also provides real-time alerts on critical battery issues, the phone being switched off and if the SIM card is taken out.
As a pioneer in the domain of parental control, Nischint has now diversified into the field of education. Catalysing digital education securely, schools can adopt Nischint's device management and digital security features to manage and protect children's tablets at home, school or anywhere else. It also helps in managing class-wise content docs and apps.
