The inauguration of the school was done by Mr.Amitabh Bachchan lighting the lamp alongside the host and trustee Mr.Sujay Jairaj and Jairaj Thacker. Guests present at the launch of the Jamnabai Narsee International School were Hariprasad Chaurasia, Swaroop Sampat, Minal Thacker, Poonam Dhillon, Indu Shahani, Archana Kochhar, Azeem & Sameena Khan amongst others. Suraj Jairaj was rightly heard saying, " We are fortunate to have an institution in himself Mr.Amitabh Bachchan inaugurating the new faculty."
