World handicapped day celebrations

​To celebrate the World Handicapped Day 

JOSH with JOSH created a unique  dance programme

at bhaidas, vile parle (west) around the theme *Incredible India"  to encourage and cheer

special schools for hearing impaired across Mumbai.

This lack of accessibility to the sounds of the environment and language creates a myriad of challenges for the hearing impaired children. They were taught dance by the usage of visual, kinesthetic, and linguistic, repetition instruction

The event was organised by the Josh Foundation,  Trust founded by reputed ENT surgeon * Dr. Jayant Gandhi* and renowned audiologist and speech therapist *Devangi Dalal

The dance compitition 'Incredible INDIA"was judged by GOPI BHALLAJI(Fame FIR) ,AMARDEEP SINGH NUTT (ROBOTICS MASTER) AND REKHA KHAN (JOURNALIST).

THE event was graced by HON. MP SHRI GOPAL SHETTY JI.He was amazed to see kids performances and gave HIS blessings as well he guided JOSH TO START associating and work with GOVERNMENT to spread the message to make these children NATIONAL ASSETS.

JOSH EVENT was also graced by BHAVYA GANDHI (TAPU tARAK MEHTA FAME).kids were very happy to dance with him.SUJATA MEHTA actress also was present.The show was anchored by RJ RAHUL.

THE JOSH STARS also did STUNNING Fashion Show during event with a right attitude ,spirit and confidance.Many philontrophic donors and also many NGOS were present to witness the talent of these kids.

DANCE compitition was won by PRAGATI VIDHYALAYA (dadar)on first position.second position was won by Disha karnabadhir vidhyalya (vile parle) and third position won by Mulund rotary school and Sanskardham rotary school (goregaon).

JOSH ALSO encourages the students who pass their 10th and 12rh std.with more than 70% with certificate of excellence and gifts,

JOSH FOUNDATION wish to pass on the message very clearly that  "They don't need symathy they need support" and also "Hearing Handicap no more Handicap.''said Dr.Jayant Gandhi.

All these children,are just like us ,they need to aspire to become doctor, engineer, lawyer, pilot, graphic designers, etc.WE just need to show the correct direction ,said Devangi dalal.

JOSH foundation, NGO, is instrumental in nurturing lives of over 700 children till now by providing them pairs of digital hearing aids absolutely free of cost and also work towards training and integrating them into normal schools. They are currently supporting 5 special schools and are dynamically involved in changing their "special" status.

Over 10 years JOSH foundation has organized number of events and activities like; elocution competition, talent contest, group dance competitions, Raas Garba with Falguni Pathak, etc. to provide platform for these children to showcase their ability and also show the society that they should also be part  of normal society.
