With Hind Ka NaPak Ko Jawab in cinemas this friday, we got one more reason to cheer and take pride in being Indians! Huge crowds of people were excited to see Surgical Strikes unleashed in Cinemas. Due to immense craze in the fans for HKNKJ, the screening of this movie began at about 1:00 am of 10th February, 2017 itself. Now this is something we have never seen so far!
HKNKJ, the fourth instalment of MSG series, directed by the Father Daughter Duo, aka Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan and Honeypreet Insan is an endeavor to invoke patriotism in the youth; and to spread the message of women empowerment. Dr MSG is seen in the lead role as Sher-E-Hind, a top secret agent of India who is on a mission against terrorism. He forays into the foreign land laced with ultra modern gadgets. In his mission to foil the attempt of napakis looking to wage a nuclear war, He meets a young Pakistani girl, and we have a pristine love story of Sher-E-Hind and Sargam. Love Jihad takes a reverse angle this time adding to the cheers and whistles amongst the audiences.  And for the politicians asking for proofs, will be in for a shock as this Sher doesn't mind dragging them to the border-front to collect proofs themselves. Apart from the lighter moments and romance, HKNKJ is also about returning to your roots. The movie gives answers to many questions that are being raised on a daily basis, about women empowerment and about raising the Girls with confidence and of course love Jihad and terrorism.
What's more the current situation of Balochistan has also been shown captured very closely making us wanting to get up and do something right away to make things better. The songs, background scores, real locations, cinematography, dialogues and icing on the cake is its storyline, will keep you asking for more. The Movie is a jackpot for Dr. MSG's fans, as you can get to see in almost 8-9 different getups and these are definitely worth exploring. Besides all the songs, score high on peppy Music and lyrics and you can instantly connect to these, foot tapping numbers. The romantic numbers 'System HIl gaya ' and 'Tujhe Paake' capture the spirit of valentine perfectly.
All in all, Hind Ka Napak Ko Jawab  is not just a jawab to napak but to the billions of Indians too. And these answers are definitely worth checking out!

KARN MALHOTRA SHOWCASED A BUDDING FASHION TALE AT THE 6DEGREE STUDIO DURING LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK SUMMER/RESORT 2017

The first blossoms of summer were captured exquisitely by Karn Malhotra through his collection "Bloom" at The 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017.

The flourishing collection had silhouettes inspired by the summer blooms such as enchanting lilies, daffodils, and blue forget-me-nots. They were further subtly depicted through the use of ruffles, layers, frills, and glass bead tassels. Romanticizing the first blooms, the collection was flirty and feminine, paying special attention to combining the vintage and modern eras.

The mix of signature straight, clean cuts and flowing, fluid, forms was displayed through an array of high fashion silhouettes consisting of short evening dresses, jumpsuits, separates and gowns. These were crafted from fine summer silks like crépe and chiffon, along with polyester blends and georgette. It was hard to miss the delicacy of the flourishing ensembles through the ruffles and tonal fringe details. Structured garments like jackets, button-down dresses and straight pants found their niche between the fluidity.

The colour palette was imagined as a scenic view with all the elements like water, skies, sun, and greenery coming into picture. From muted tones of white and powder aqua blue, to flaming orange, shades of deep forest green, the collection covered the whole scene in hues  ̶  at times with colour blocking. The two-tone diamond check print made an appearance through tailored separates.

At the collection's full bloom, Bollywood's stunning starlet, Amyra Dastur, enchanted the audience in a one off-shoulder asymmetric gown. It was a shimmering number that had tones of powder blue and metallic grey cascading down the ensemble.

"Bloom" by Karn Malhotra was not only a fashion expression but also an experience of the first signs of serene flora of summers, at The 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017.

DAY FOUR AT LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK SUMMER/RESORT 2017 CLOSED WITH TARUN TAHILIANI'S SENSATIONAL RESORT BRIDAL WEAR

HOLLYWOOD'S MULTI-TALENTED DIVA PADMA LAKSHMI DAZZLED ON THE RAMP

The Mughal Gardens and architecture inspired Tarun Tahiliani's "Chashme Shahi" bridal wear collection, which was replete with timeless craft and textiles to end Day Four at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017.

Strands of mogra suspended from the ceiling turned the venue into a fragrant garden to match the inspiration. "Chashme Shahi, a spring of freshness and lightness, of pared down finesse, restraint and elegant draping, spring flowers and delicate chikankari. As dressing in the day becomes more casual, the collections move more towards the evening – changes in lifestyle heralds a change in fashion and to be working with Padma Lakshmi, having lived in many avatars and with her fierce voice of independence, beautifully brings alive the brands philosophy of India Modern. It's wonderful to be working with her again as she so totally embodies the Tarun Tahiliani woman," said Tarun Tahiliani.

"I'm so excited to have walked the ramp for my dear friend Tarun Tahiliani. While I have attended Lakmé Fashion Week, I have never had the pleasure of walking the ramp and I'm so honoured to be part of this wonderful event," stated Hollywood's multi-talented Diva, Padma Lakshmi who opened the show wearing an ethereal white heavily embellished lehenga, textured choli and sheer dupatta and ended the sensational collection in a peach/pink panelled brocade lehenga and pink silk shirt.

The profusion of silhouettes will delight brides aiming to create an ideal resort wedding fusion statement. Lehenga skirts, kurtas, and concept saris had a youthful vibe; while flirty, asymmetric, hemlines appeared regularly to enhance the appeal of the garments. Off-shoulder tops and tunics, Tees and scarves were separates for mix and match honeymoon options.

Tarun edited the show in marked segments starting with the white with chikan work and great texturing for the lehengas, saris, kurtas, net ponchos, flared kedia blouses, draped dhoti-saris and a profusion of variety silhouettes.

The printed line had a bouquet of florals for long skirts, blouses with net yokes and obi over a lehenga, jumpsuit, which ended in breeches and kurta with printed flowing bolero.

Red had to be there, so Tarun unleashed a cold-shoulder cowl gown, gypsy blouse and draped sari gown. Glitter was featured for saris, multicoloured, panelled, sequinned, kurtas with attached dupattas, draped lungi-gown and printed waist coat.

The crimped shaded poncho was part of this line of printed creations where a kurta and sari also made an appearance. For variety, there were stripes in various forms for maxis, togas and a mini poncho.

The black line was filled with drama as the draped sari-gown, a Grecian inspired toga, multi-patterned lehenga with poncho choli and the tulle blouses for glittering long skirts were ideal for haute events.

Tarun ended the show with three very splendid brocade lehengas in bronze, green and navy all teamed with matching silk shirts. Fresh, light with elegant drapes and splashed with chikankari blossoms, the collection was a visual treat for the audience.

There was perfect harmony of colours as white, cream, beige, jade and black floated down the ramp, while sudden bright hues added to the enchantment of the ensembles. The various fabrics added to the drama as handlooms, georgettes, Chanderis and crépe jersey proved to be the perfect base for day to evening glamour.

Embellishments have always been Tarun's forté and he unleashed a glittering assortment with zardosi, Gara embroidery, French knots, Arabesque jaal detailing, and topped it all with Swarovski crystals in designs that moved from Mughal arches, architecture to florals.

Kalidaar kurtas were a "must have"; while ornate blouses and heavily embellished sari borders as well as bridal lehengas had stunning embroidery.

Men's wear followed the line of the white, black and brocade segments for the bandgalas, sherwanis, Jodhpur trousers, bundies and kurtas.

What added to the glitz, glamour and drama of the collection was the fabulous jewellery and shoes designed by Tarun to complement the clothes.

When it comes to sheer sophistication and chic bridal wear glamour for those summer wedding memories, Tarun Tahiliani's "Chashme Shahi" collection created everlasting visions of sartorial beauty.

6DEGREE PRESENTED THE FASCINATING COLLECTIONS OF FAHD KHATRI AND NANDINI BARUVA AT THE 6DEGREE STUDIO DURING LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK SUMMER/RESORT 2017

TIM-BAK-TWO BY FAHD KHATRI WAS A FASCINATING TAKE ON THE NATURE OF THE SAHARA DESERT PRESENTED BY 6DEGREE AT THE 6DEGREE STUDIO DURING LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK SUMMER/RESORT 2017

A tie-dye expert tells stories, which the dye wants to show, and this was evident in Fahd Khatri's "Tim-Bak-Two" collection, showcased at the 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017 by 6Degree. The lines of the dye took inspiration from the nature; hence the assemblage was named after the city Timbuktu located on the southern edge of the Sahara desert. The stage was set for an installation with mirrors as separations, where models posed for the viewers.

The lines of the sand dunes, which are formed by the winds, made their way on the garments with the help of the dyeing technique to create a unique pattern. To make the pattern the focal point of the design, inspiration arose from convertible cars, which were in fashion during the 1930's, for the silhouettes.

Each garment was crafted to have different styles and drapes, which made it versatile. There was an array of tunics with drapes that could be transformed to make it into different outfits. These were teamed with drop crotch pants and wide leg pants. This was essentially done to make them comfortable and easy to pack for women on the go. Menswear included three piece ensembles with tailored jackets as the key feature.

Lines were again the guides for the silhouettes as they appeared in form of striped bands and zipper openings. The colour palette also was inspired by nature with yellow, orange, light blue, and mud green being the prominent colours.

"Tim-Bak-Two" collection by Fahd Khatri presented by 6Degree was a remarkable representation of the essence of the Sahara desert and made an impactful appearance at The 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017.

NATURE CRAFTED AN ENGAGING STORY ON THE RAMP WITH NANDINI BARUVA'S "BHUMISATTVA" COLLECTION AT THE 6DEGREE STUDIO DURING LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK SUMMER/RESORT 2017

With the ethos of sustainability and ecology at the heart of the creations, Nandini Baruva for her label 'Kirameki', presented a stunning collection called "Bhumisattva" at The 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017. Assam's pride, its handloom Taat Xaal, gave the collection its voice of being handwoven from fibre to fabric. Going back to the roots, the design inspiration came from the small weaving hamlets of Assam.

"Bhumisattva" was a story that was inspired by fibre-to-fabric sustainable fashion. It was told through an outstanding installation, where the models posed artistically against the backdrop of mirrors. Natural fabrics were woven from pineapple and banana fibre, and the native Eri silk, also known as Ahimsa silk. These constituted the foundation of the garments. The royal Ahom motifs, Xingkhap and Gos, created an ethereal presence when weaved into the collection. The outfits also displayed the beautiful hand block printing method.

The rich ensembles had equally rich colour combinations of ivory, muga, red, black and gold. These hues took on structured silhouettes, which had relaxed coordinates. Whether it is a saree teamed with tailored jacket or a fun long dress with gathers at the waist or the classic combination of blouse or tunic over circular skirts, the designer had something for everyone. Silhouettes like peplum top, trench jacket, kaftan dress and dhoti pants also made an appearance.

Attention to detail was evident as the eco-friendly theme echoed through the use of accessories such as natural organic dyed scarves and stoles and brogues made out of waste fibre and cane. Handbag, backpack and briefcase too had organic touch with cane and bamboo details. Finesse was added by the silver gold tone wrist cuffs (Gaam Kharu).

"Bhumisattva" by Nandini Baruva was an inspirational ecological thought that bloomed into a mesmerising reality at The 6Degree Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week, Summer/Resort 2017.
